ENTER THE GAME 🎮

We are looking for a Human Resources Director for France to support our growth and lead the HR strategy across the French territory.

As a key member of the HR leadership team, you will play both a strategic and operational role, ensuring that HR policies are aligned with the company’s overall objectives.

YOUR ROLE AT BETCLIC🔥

In this context, your main responsibilities will include:

  • HR Strategy: Define and implement the HR strategy for France in alignment with the company’s global priorities, and contribute to cross-functional HR initiatives led by the Group.
  • Business Partner: Support managers by providing the necessary tools and guidance, and handle or oversee the management of individual employee matters.
  • Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, training, career development, and internal mobility policies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Employee Relations: Lead interactions with employee representative bodies, anticipating and managing labor relations issues.
  • Payroll & HR Administration: Ensure payroll and administrative processes are compliant with French labor laws, collective agreements, and Group standards.
  • Culture & Engagement: Promote Betclic’s culture and strengthen employee engagement across the organization.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with French employment regulations and provide HR analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Leadership: Lead and develop the local HR team, supporting their growth and day-to-day responsibilities.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?🔍

We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm!


This job is for you if:

  • You hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Human Resources, Labor Law, or a related field
  • You have at least 15 years of successful experience in Human Resources in similar roles within a group/international environment—ideally in a high-growth and/or tech-driven context.

  • You have strong expertise in French labor law and deep knowledge of employee relations in France.

  • You have a proven ability to support organizational transformation.

  • You demonstrate leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, a strong results-driven mindset, and the ability to support and develop teams.

  • You are known for your communication skills, strategic thinking, and collaborative spirit.

  • And finally, you speak English fluently.


WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS? 📝

  • If your application is shortlisted, you will be contacted by Pierre within a week for a 30-minute HR pre-qualification interview.
  • You will then be invited to complete the AssessFirst test (covering personality, motivation, and cognitive ability).
  • You will then meet Xavier – Chief People Officer – followed by a Use Case exercise before meeting Nicolas – CEO.
  • Pierre will conduct a final HR interview where you will also discuss the results of your AssessFirst Test.

To provide an ideal candidate experience, the Betclic recruitment process typically lasts 4 to 8 weeks
