ENTER THE GAME

The jobholder will join the Detection team (composed of 12 analysts and senior analysts), within the Safer Gaming (SG) Operations pole. The pole is part of the Safer Gaming direction, along with the Safer Gaming Projects pole. The jobholder will be reporting to the Detection Team lead.

The purpose of the Detection team is to review all customer accounts which are brought up to their attention, based on automated tools, defined processes and guidelines, and on the analysts’ expertise. Reviewing involves proper identification, analysis, and documentation of cases, in collaboration with other internal teams (Fraud & Payments, AML, Customer Services, Key Account Management, Trading, Legal and Compliance, etc.).

YOUR ROLE AT BETCLIC

In this context, your duties are:

• Independently review and risk rate player’s accounts detected through AI alerts, scripts and other reports based on the risk posed from an SG perspective, and according to internal procedures and matrix – in accordance with the requirements put forth by our various regulatory bodies as well as applicable laws
• Conduct analyses and answer to specific requests from management and from Betclic’s providers (ie. Payment, Ipoker)
• Conduct analyses and manage cases escalated by other teams (Customer Service, etc.)
• When needed, carry out investigations (online searches & Enhanced Due Diligence Reports) relating to source of income or wealth. This will often involve liaising with other departments to source information on players. Making use of all available tools as well as external data sources, such as social media or online research to achieve this
• Escalate players “at risk” to the Protection team
• Maintain a close working relationship with the other departments. Internal and external communication must be maintained at professional and high standards
