ENTER THE GAME 🎮

QAs are responsible for ensuring the quality of developments within each squad at Betclic.
In this role, you work closely with frontend and/or backend developers to deliver the best possible user experience.

You’ll be part of an experienced Agile team of 5 to 12 people (including Developers, Product Owners, Architects, etc.) and actively contribute to the success of the team’s shared objectives.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC 🔥

With a functional and/or automation-oriented mindset, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring quality by promoting a strong testing culture to identify issues as early as possible and drive continuous improvement across both processes and products.
  • Understanding customer and business needs related to sports and online gaming, across both web and mobile platforms.
  • Providing valuable feedback on user experience, with a focus on delivering a frictionless journey, smooth onboarding, and innovative features.
  • Creating test plans and test cases for new features and regression testing, contributing to the overall quality of our websites, web apps, and mobile applications.
  • Automating critical features in collaboration with developers and test automation engineers.
  • Performing exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and unexpected behaviors.
  • Contributing to a productive, collaborative, and enjoyable work environment.

TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT

  • Framework : CodeceptJS
  • Tools : Jira / qTest / Postman / Jenkins
  • Process : ISTQB, BDD
  • Language : Javascript, Typescript, Sql

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 🔍

We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm!

This job is for you if:

  • You have professional experience as a QA Engineer in automated testing or solid experience in functional testing and are ready to develop your skills in automation.
  • You have a strong quality mindset and a customer-centric approach.
  • You’re known for your autonomy, curiosity, and keen interest in new technologies.
  • You actively contribute ideas to help improve the application.
  • Your strong interpersonal skills allow you to build trusting relationships with your teammates and cross-functional teams.
  • You’re comfortable communicating in English.


WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS? 📝

If your application is shortlisted, Mathilde will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).

About two weeks later, you will either take a technical test with one of our Technology experts.

Next, you will meet the Engineering Manager, your future manager, followed by the Tech Director Finally, Mathilde will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.

The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
